the US, if necessary.

For participants who need a letter for visa applications, please contact:

Air Travel
Atlanta
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL)
The Atlanta airport is a major hub for
Delta Airlines,
although most major US airlines also fly into Hartsfield-Jackson.
Ground Transportation
Metropolitan Atlanta is serviced by MARTA,
a public rail and bus system. A regular one-way adult fare is $1.75.
The Global Learning Center/Georgia Tech Hotel are easily reached by rail
from the Atlanta Airport. The entrance to MARTA's Airport Station is located
inside the western end of the airport's main terminal. To reach the Global
Learning Center, board a northbound train and exit at either the North
Avenue or Midtown MARTA station:
From the North Avenue MARTA transit station:
Head north on West Peachtree Street until you reach Fifth Street. Turn
left onto Fifth Street and go one block. Cross Spring Street at the pedestrian
crossing. You will pass the Georgia Tech Hotel and some shops until you
reach the courtyard. Go through the courtyard to enter the Georgia Tech
Global Learning Center.
From the Midtown MARTA transit station:
Catch the Tech Trolley, Georgia Tech’s complimentary shuttle. Get
off the trolley at the stop across the street from the Georgia Tech Global
Learning Center. Go through the courtyard to enter the center.
Taxi fare from the Atlanta airport to the Global Learning
Center is approximately $32.
By Car: The conference is located
in Midtown Atlanta, at the crossroads of Interstates: I-75, I-85, and
I-20.
Amtrak:
passenger rail service into Atlanta Georgia from
points in the continental US.
